Selena Gomez, Benny Blanco Announce New Song ‘Sunset Blvd’

New track will precede the couple’s collaborative album, I Said I Love You First

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are celebrating the earliest moments in their love story. On Tuesday, the musician couple announced that they’ll release a new single named “Sunset Blvd,” inspired by their first date on the Hollywood road, out March 14.

“Our first date was on Sunset Blvd, and it’s also the title of our next song together,” Gomez captioned a selfie with Blanco during one of their early hangouts. “P.S. this is our first official photo together.”

Blanco commented on the post: “Ur my cherry pie.”

Earlier in the week, the pair was also captured playing the song while cruising down Sunset. The new single is off of I Said I Love You First.  The couple announced the album earlier this year with “Scared of Loving You,” which was co-written and produced by Finneas. They followed that up with “Call Me When You Break Up,” featuring Gracie Abrams

Gomez and Blanco confirmed their relationship in December 2023 and got engaged about a year later. Their new album, out March 21, is described as a celebration of their relationship and will chronicle the entirety of their story. The album’s track list includes songs such as “Younger and Hotter Than Me,” “Ojos Tristes,” “Don’t Wanna Cry,” “Don’t Take It Personally,” and “Cowboy.”

Earlier in the week, Gomez celebrated Blanco’s birthday with a series of photos on Instagram. “I’m not sure what I did to deserve you but damn am I glad you were born.. happy birthday baby,” she wrote. Blanco commented: “I love u wifey.”
