Justin Bieber Shares Another Cryptic Message Amid Health Concerns

The musician has posted a second Instagram Story post revealing candid reflections on external perceptions and expectations following weeks of speculation and concerns about his health

Justin Bieber has published another semi-cryptic Instagram Story revealing candid reflections on external perceptions and expectations. Last week, he wrote about feeling like a fraud, admitting he often feels “unequipped and unqualified” after years of people telling him he’s deserving of all that he has. This week, Bieber is ruminating on what to do with all of the pent-up hate people have told him not to express.

“I was always told when I was a kid not to hate,” he wrote. “But it made me feel like I wasn’t allowed to hate it and so I didn’t tell anyone I’ve had it. Which made me feel like I have been drowning feeling unsafe to acknowledge it. I think we can only let hate go by first acknowledging it’s there. How couldn’t we feel hate from all of the hurt we have experienced?”

The post was set to “I Hate U,” a single from SZA’s album SOS. Bieber appeared on the remix for “Snooze” from the same record. The singer has shared six Instagram Story posts in the past 24 hours, all set to different songs. One was simply a photo of his belt, set to Gunna’s “Who You Foolin,” while another set to Stevie Wonder’s “Summer Soft” showed off his tattoos. The most recent showed a photo Bieber captured of his wife, Hailey Bieber, and close friend, the Kid Laroi, during a recent Disneyland trip.

“He’s just a really special human being. He has no ego when it comes to supporting me,” Laroi told Rolling Stone last year about finding a mentor in Bieber. “Not everyone’s like him. He’s very giving and he wants to offer everything that he has to help me.”

Still, Bieber’s heightened social media presence as of late has done little to tamper concerns about his health and well-being following weeks of speculation. In February, his representatives called comments on his mental and physical health “exhausting and pitiful and shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.”
