Kesha and Scissor Sisters will host the ultimate summer party on their forthcoming Tits Out tour, scheduled to hit arenas and amphitheatres across North American throughout July and August. The 25-date tour arrives as Kesha prepares for the release of Period (.), her first album as an independent artist, out July 4. “Ready for the ride of your life?” the tour poster reads.
The tour will kick off just before the album release with an opening show at West Valley City, Utah, on July 1. The Tits Out tour will make stops at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles and Madison Square Garden in New York, plus venues in Phoenix, Dallas, Nashville, Toronto, Virginia Beach, Charlotte, and more. The run, which marks a grand return for Scissor Sisters, who last toured in North America more than a decade ago, is currently scheduled to wrap on Aug. 10 in Tampa, Florida.
Artist presales will run through both Kesha and Scissor Sisters’ official websites on Tuesday, April 8 at 10 a.m. local time ahead of a widespread general sale on Thursday, April 10 at 10 a.m. local time. The artists will be joined on select dates by Slayyyter and Rose Gray.
“The most political thing we can do right now is love. Love ourselves and love each other,” Kesha shared in a statement. “Americans need to have more safe, consensual sex. Our administration is so disembodied and disconnected. I’m going TITS OUT this summer to bring as much safety, fun, acceptance, love, connection, and celebration to this country because we are just as much the fabric of this FREE nation as anyone else. We will not be quiet, and we will fight through joy! I think it’s time to make LOVE, not content. LOVE, not anger. LOVE, not hatred, and love, not war.”
Kesha is hoping to play matchmaker through her partnership with the dating app Feeld by encouraging fans to wear red “if you are single, horny, and down to flirt” at the Tits Out tour. She’s also on the prowl herself: “Along the way, I’m looking for a sugar daddy, so if you bring a tall, hot, single friend, you get extra animal points.”
Scissor Sisters added: “We are stoked to extend our reunion to the US and Canada this summer alongside Kesha. There has always been a bit of anarchy and chaos to both of our live shows – and we can’t wait to bring that ‘anything can happen’ energy across North America again.”
