Singer-songwriter also performs “Joy, Joy!” and “All I Really Wanna Do” from upcoming LP Owls, Omens, and Oracles on CBS Saturday Morning

Valerie June debuted songs from her upcoming album Owls, Omens, and Oracles during a visit to CBS Saturday Morning’s Saturday Sessions.

In addition to the new LP’s first single “Joy, Joy!,” the Tennessee singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist and her band also premiered Owls, Omens, and Oracles’ “All I Really Wanna Do” and “Endless Tree,” prior to the latter’s arrival as the album’s next single on Tuesday.

“As we see so much divisiveness and polarization in the world, this song asks listeners if they are ready for a more harmonious and peaceful planet,” June said of “Endless Tree” in a statement. “If what we focus on is what manifests, then, although we don’t always agree with each other, might it still be possible to respect our differences and grow together vs. creating wars? Trees have a secret language that connects them to each other. Without plants and trees, we couldn’t breathe. What can we learn from plants as teachers?”

Owls, Omens, and Oracles, June’s first album since 2021’s The Moon and Stars: Prescriptions for Dreamers, arrives April 25 via Concord Records.
