Dierks Bentley, Maddie & Tae and Brett Young are three more big name acts with confirmed albums still to come.

Additionally, after assuring us a new project was coming, Eric Church announced his first album in four years. Blake Shelton waited just as long, and he’ll also drop a new record in May.

On May 16, Morgan Wallen will release his next album, titled I’m the Problem. If history repeats itself, that will be the No. 1 sales and streaming country album of 2025 (per Billboard), but this list also includes a couple of rumored albums from certified hitmakers who could take the title.

Many are daring, perhaps even too risky for your tastes. However, if the album art pushed boundaries, the music inside did, too, which makes for an iconic album.
