Ransom Canyon is as predictable as it is enjoyable, and is full of love triangles, deaths, mystery, arrests and even a rodeo, making it the perfect new binge-watch-worthy series for fans of Yellowstone.

The new series centers on Staten Kirkland (Josh Duhamel), owner of Double K Ranch, as he deals with the loss of his wife and navigates his complicated relationship with dancehall owner Quinn O’Grady (Minka Kelly).

The 10-episode first season has quickly become one of the most-watched TV series on Netflix and ends with a major cliffhanger, leaving fans clamoring for a second season.

Showrunner April Blair told Netflix’s Tudum that her objective was to leave fans wanting “more” after watching the first season.

“My favorite feeling is when a show ends, and you don’t want it to end, and you just want more. It makes you feel warm and familiar, and you don’t want to let go. That is how I hope people feel. It’s how I feel about the show watching it,” she told the outlet.

Will There be a Season 2 of Ransom Canyon?

Netflix has not yet confirmed whether or not they will pick up a second season of the Western saga.

However, show creator April Blair told Deadline her team has been “in the room” working on and writing the next season.
