Blackpink Album Is ‘Coming Soon,’ Lisa Says

“We were in the studio a few days ago,” singer and The White Lotus actress says

A new Blackpink album is “coming soon,” according to group member Lisa. The singer and The White Lotus actress teased the upcoming release in a new interview with Variety.

“Actually, we were in the studio a few days ago,” Lisa told the outlet on Saturday. “We’re all so super excited to get back together and go on tour. We really miss the Blinks. We can’t wait to see them.”

Blackpink will kick off their world tour this summer, with a two-date stint in Seoul, South Korea beginning July 5. They then head to North America with shows set for Inglewood, California; Chicago; Toronto; and New York. The run wraps in January 2026 with two shows in Tokyo at Tokyo Dome.

As far as when fans can expect the follow-up to 2022’s Born Pink, it appears their third studio album is not too far off from arriving, though a release date has not been revealed. “You have to be patient about it,” Lisa said. “It’s coming soon, I promise. It’s about time.”

Last month, Lisa bid farewell to her White Lotus character, Mook, following the Season Three finale. She called her debut acting experience “the greatest honor.”

In the new interview with Variety, she speculated where Mook might be today “(I think she is somehow going to make it to Bangkok,” she said) and when asked if she had spoken to showrunner Mike White about returning to the show next season, she welcomed the idea.

“People want to see more of a Mook,” Lisa said. “I would love to if I had the chance, but I don’t want to pressure anyone.”
