Miley Cyrus Drops Trailer for ‘Something Beautiful’ Visual Album

The trailer features brief flashes of the singer from the various videos for each song

Miley Cyrus is gearing up for the release of her upcoming visual album, Something Beautiful, and she’s hyping fans up for its arrival with the official trailer.

The trailer features brief flashes of Cyrus in different looks and costumes from the various videos for each song. In one moment, she winks at the camera before the shot switches to one of her executing her choreography. The clip is set to her song “Easy Lover.”

“13 original songs,” reads words flashed across the screen between clips. “A striking visual album fueled by fantasy.”

Something Beautiful will have its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 6 and will be released in theaters for special one-night-only screenings across North America on June 12. The film will then be released internationally on June 27. A synopsis of the project, directed by Cyrus with Jacob Bixenman and Brendan Walter, describes it as “a unique visual experience… including 13 original songs from the upcoming album. A one-of-a-kind pop opera from the mind of Miley Cyrus.”

The visual component will follow the release of the album on May 30. Cyrus unveiled the Something Beautiful track list earlier this week. The album is set to feature songs titled “Golden Burning Sun,” “Reborn,” “More to Lose,” and “Give Me Love,” along with a pair of unnamed interludes. (The teaser included a snippet of the song “Easy Lover.”)

“All 13 songs have a special place in my heart,” Cyrus wrote alongside the announcement.
