Finneas, Ashe Announce Band, The Favors, and Debut Album ‘The Dream’

Their upcoming LP, The Dream, will release this fall

Finneas and Ashe are reuniting, this time coming together as a band called the Favors.

The duo made their announcement on Monday. “We made a band. It’s called The Favors,” wrote the artists in a joint Instagram post. Their debut album, titled The Dream, is set to release on Sept. 19, while the group’s first single, “The Little Mess You Made”, rolls out this Friday.

“We deeply loved making this music together in secret and can’t wait for it to finally make it’s way to you,” continued the statement, which was shared alongside a photo of Finneas and Ashe evoking Fleetwood Mac’s 1977 album Rumours, whose single “Dreams” hit Number One on the Billboard Hot 100 at the time.

Finneas also detailed the upcoming project on his Instagram story, writing: “Over the past 18 months, Ashe and I have been toiling away on this album and I really mean it when I say I could not be more proud of it – David Marinelli on drums, Ricky Gourmet on guitar – I love being in a band.”
