Sean Combs’ Son Releases New Song ‘Diddy Free’ With Kanye West

Christian “King” Combs drops track as closing arguments continue in his father’s sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy trial

As closing arguments continue in the Sean Combs trial, the defendant’s son, Christian Combs, has released a new song called “Diddy Free” assisted by Kanye West.

On Friday, Christian — under the moniker King Combs — released the seven-song Never Stop EP on streaming services, with West serving as producer on the project. “Diddy Free” sits in the middle of the EP, with lyrics partially devoted to hoping for his father’s acquittal.

“When shit get sus they try to play the victim/Outspoken, I ain’t keepin’ shit in,” King Combs says on the track. “They be takin’ shots, they can’t trigger me, nah/Fuck the world, critics and the witness/Face clean, they tryna dirt the image.”

King Combs adds on the chorus, “N—as ain’t goin’ to sleep ’til we see Diddy free.”

In perhaps a moment of synergy and self-promotion, Sean’s son Justin Combs appeared Friday for closing arguments in his father’s trial wearing a shirt that read “Free Sean Combs,” but was warned by a court officer that any clothes with messages on them were not allowed in the courtroom; he quickly turned the shirt inside-out.

West has also been vocal in his support for Sean Combs, even making a cameo at the courthouse where Combs’ sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy trial was happening last week. However, West did not enter the courtroom itself; he instead watched the day’s proceedings on a screen in an overflow room set up in the courthouse.
