Back in 2023, Ryan Castro dubbed himself “El Cantante del Ghetto” with his debut LP of the same name. Now, his sights are more global. The Colombian reggaeton rapper has announced his first world tour with the 2025 Sendé tour. Castro will bring his thrilling live show to 27 major cities across the world, including New York, Paris, and Madrid. The first leg will officially kick off on August 7 in Vancouver, Canada and wrap up in New York with Latin American and Caribbean dates coming soon.
The Sendé tour marks Castro’s largest headlining solo tour to date. Last year, the rapper joined forces with fellow Colombian musician Blessd to embark on their joint U.S. tour Ay Bendito Ghetto Tour. Prior to that, Castro has played a handful of live shows in Europe and Colombia — and even joined Colombian superstar Karol G as an opener for her Bichota Reloaded Tour and Mañana Será Bonito festival in Medellín.
Castro’s tour announcement comes on the heels of his sophomore album Sendé, which debuted in the Top 10 of Spotify’s “Top Albums Global Debut” chart in May 2025. The album’s unique Caribbean energy captures Castro’s time living in Curaçao, where the rapper learned to blend the island’s danzón and kizomba genres into his reggaeton-leaning rhymes. In 2024, Castro explained his time on the island to Rolling Stone, saying, “I decided to experiment with other things and nourish myself with other music and cultures.”
