Miranda Lambert certainly isn’t swearing off denim mini-skirts after a viral wardrobe mishap gave the crowd a look at her butt cheeks in Seattle last week.
On the contrary: She took the stage in Santa Clara, Calif. on Friday night (Aug. 1) wearing a mini-skirt that was as short as ever, and she also seemed to nod to the butt-bearing moment during her set.
During her performance of “Little Red Wagon,” Lambert turned around and smacked her booty as she sang the line “You can’t step to this backyard swagger.”
She cracked a smile and through an extra shimmy into her walk, and the crowd laughed right along with her.

Lambert used “Little Red Wagon” to respond to the viral moment after it happened, too.
“I’ve been warning y’all about my backyard swagger since 2014,” she joked in a TikTok post set to the song.

One line in particular describes the moment: “It ain’t my fault when I’m walkin’ / Jaws droppin’ / Like ooh, ahhh.”

Though Lambert probably didn’t intend to give fans quite such a revealing show, her fans loved it.
The response to the initial video was largely supportive — and, well, even a little spicy.

“I didn’t realize what a big Miranda Lambert fan I was until now,” a third observed.

Miranda Lambert’s Stint As An Opener For Morgan Wallen Continues
Both last weekend’s much-buzzed-about show and her most recent time onstage were part of Lambert’s ongoing gig as direct support for Morgan Wallen‘s I’m the Problem Tour.
Lambert shared a roundup of snapshots and videos from this weekend on the tour, captioning the carousel, “Rowdy in Cali.”
The I’m the Problem Tour has been on the road for nearly two months now, and it’s set to continue into mid-September.
