A woman was arrested in Utah on Monday (Aug. 4) for allegedly jumping in front of Post Malone‘s car as he tried to leave his home.
According to KOMO News, officers from the Cottonwood Heights Police Department responded to a call to Post’s residence early on Monday.
Cherish Christine Gomer was arrested and booked on two third-degree felony charges — suspicion of Stalking and Violation of a Permanent Criminal Stalking injunction — according to Fox 13.
She is currently being held without bail.
It’s the fifth time that Gomer has been arrested on charges of stalking the rapper and singer, but the first time she’ll face felony charges in connection with the alleged crimes.
- Gomer was arrested back in January for walking onto Post’s Cottonwood Heights property after someone at the home opened the gate to let a worker out.
- Court documents state that she was asked to leave, but refused, and sat on a bench outside the home until police officers arrived and arrested her.
- Two more similar incidents followed on Feb. 1 and Feb. 10. Both times, Gomer was arrested after walking onto Post’s property without permission.
- She was once again arrested on July 27, and court documents said it was the second time that week she’d been found on the property.
In connection with the first February arrest, Gomer pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor stalking charge.
