Zach Bryan logged a fiery new statement against his ex-girlfriend Brianna Chickenfry, in a feud that’s been raging throughout the 10 months since they broke up.
On Monday (Aug. 4), the singer shared some photos and video from a bonfire he threw in a rural field.
At one point, Bryan spreads a flag out on the grass and lights it on fire. The flag reads “Saturdays Are for the Boys,” a slogan often used in merch items for Barstool Sports — the company where Chickenfry works.
In fact, the exact flag that Bryan burned seems to be for sale in the Barstool Sports merch store. It retails for $32.
In another clip, as the flag is ablaze, Bryan runs into frame with a golf club and takes a big swing at a ball on top of the item.
Why Would Zach Bryan Want to Light His Ex-Girlfriend’s Flag on Fire?
Bryan and Chickenfry have been taking shots at each other online for months.
They split in October 2024, and at the time, things seemed pretty amicable. But it quickly devolved into an all-out social media war.
Both parties have taken public jabs at each other, and shared screenshots that dated from around the time of their breakup.

Chickenfry has been the most vocal of the two. Why Was Zach Bryan Listening to “Bitin’ List”?
It might seem like a small detail, but the music Bryan set his most recent social posts to is a key component of this saga.
He chose Tyler Childers‘ new song “Bitin’ List” to soundtrack all the clips having to do with his bonfire — and flag-burning.
This song is relevant, on a couple of different levels.
First, of course, its lyrics apply to the way Bryan presumably feels about Chickenfry.
“To put it plain, I just don’t like you / Not a thing about the way you is / And if there ever come a time I got rabies / You’re high on my bitin’ list,” Childers sings in the chorus of this colorful fightin’ words song, which is a stand out on his new Snipe Hunter album.

But this particular song has also become associated with the Bryan/Chickenfry drama, because three of Bryan’s exes — his ex-wife Rose, ex-girlfriend Deb and Chickenfry herself — all shared video of themselves singing and dancing to the song on social media.
Fans quickly began to speculate that all three women could have had Bryan in mind as the person who’s high on their “bitin’ lists.”
How Did Brianna Chickenfry Respond to Zach Bryan Burning a Barstool Sports Flag?
Yep, Chickenfry saw the video.
“Nurse, he’s loose again,” she wrote in one Instagram Stories slide, alongside a photo of herself looking exasperated.
She also shared a screenshot of a Google search she made about how to file a restraining order.
