Are Luke Bryan and Carrie Underwood Friends Outside of American Idol?
We asked Bryan if he hangs out with Underwood outside of American Idol, and he stated that he basically gets to see Underwood’s husband, Mike Fisher, more than he does her, as they hunt and fish together often.
That’s when the debt came to light.
The “Country Song Came On” singer said Underwood’s “youngest son loves to fish, so me and Mike owe him a fishing trip as soon as it’ll cool off a little bit in Nashville.”
We then asked Bryan if he thought it was cooler for Jacob to go fishing with his mom or with Bryan.
Bryan explained, “Well, it’d be like the equivalent of like my sons going up to Mike’s Kentucky deer hunting place, I think they’d want to.”
Bryan swears that as soon as it cools down, he will take Jacob fishing and make it a core memory.
“We’re gonna have fun with all of that, and I love taking the kids fishing, so maybe I got a little cool points.”
One thing is for sure: Between Fisher and Bryan, the two have enough land and places to go hunt and fish any and every type of animal they want.
We would bet that when the debt is paid off and Jacob and Bryan go fishing, his daddy and maybe his momma will be there as well, enjoying the ride.

Carrie Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, owned a 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom, 2-half-bathroom home in an affluent Nashville suburb called Brentwood. The 7,000-square-foot mansion features a wet bar, fitness center and tennis court, as well as a four-car garage, walk-out basement with heated marble floors and extra appliances, including a sub-zero fridge and wine fridge. That house is where Underwood suffered a devastating fall in 2017.
The couple sold the luxurious home for $1,410,000 in March of 2019, after they moved into the massive dream home that they had spent several years building from scratch.
