Brittany Aldean is soaking up every minute of her son Memphis’ childhood while she still can. Jason Aldean‘s wife recently took her seven-year-old son on a special “Mommy + Memphis” date night at the Dude Perfect Hero Tour stop in Nashville.
In a video shared to social media, we watch as she surprises Memphis with the details of their date. He smiles and claps his hand over his mouth in disbelief before telling her he loves her.
The rest of the montage is filled with scenes from their dinner date as they cheers with their drinks and share a kiss. The two also walk hand-in-hand down the streets of downtown Nashville.
We also see plenty of clips from the show, in addition to Memphis enjoying a Dr. Pepper and some popcorn in their floor seats. The Aldeans also had backstage passes and got to meet the guys of Dude Perfect.
They also bumped into former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow, who took a moment to sign Memphis’ Dude Perfect football.
“Date night with my little love,” Brittany writes in the caption. She also used Cody Johnson’s “‘Til You Can’t” as the video’s soundtrack, which feels like a subtle nod to the fact that moments like this won’t last forever.
Jason Aldean’s Kids Are Growing Up So Fast
Aldean and his wife Brittany share two children together. Memphis is seven years old, while their daughter Navy is six.
Brittany shared a photo of the two of them in her Instagram stories ahead of the new school year. Both are in elementary school now, with Memphis in second grade and Navy in first. The two look so grown up as they pose together on the staircase of their home.
Jason Aldean also has two daughters from a previous marriage, Keeley and Kendyl. At 22 years old, Keeley can now legally share a drink with her father, which he admits is “crazy.”
Kendyl is approaching adulthood herself, as she will turn 18 on Aug. 20.
