Cole Swindell is officially a dad! The country singer and his wife, Courtney, are celebrating the arrival of their first child, a baby girl.
“Rainey Gail Swindell,” the couple write in a joint post on social media, revealing that she was born Thursday, Aug. 7: “8.7.25 our greatest blessing.”
The photo shows baby Rainey in an all-white knit outfit. She’s also wearing a matching white bow as she sleeps peacefully on a white blanket.
A sign displayed just above her shoulder reads, “Hello world, my name is Rainey.”
The Swindells’ bundle of joy arrived shortly after the couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary.
They first shared the news of their pregnancy in March with a carousel of photos from a photoshoot. One snap showed Swindell and Courtney hanging baby onesies on a clothing line, while another one had the strip of sonogram images in view.
Earlier this week, Swindell joked about giving up his favorite hobby of golf with a baby on the way. He shared a dramatic video of himself having a memorial service for his golf clubs, set to the song “My Heart Will Go On” from Celine Dion.

Rainey is the first child for both mom and dad. The couple tied the knot on June 12, 2024, just over a year after they announced their engagement.
The “You Should Be Here” singer first met Courtney Little on the set of his music video for his song “Some Habits.” Swindell says working on the project was their unofficial first date.
He included the song on his Stereotype album, which features a few other love songs that could very well be attributed to his newfound love at the time.
Swindell says songs like “I’m Gonna Let Her” and “Miss Whatever” remind him of his wife.
