Zach Bryan Threatens Kansas City Boycott After Chiefs Fans Feud

Zach Bryan’s fans in Kansas City were hit with a tough blow over the weekend.

The 29-year-old country singer stirred up a storm on social media after taking aim at Kansas City Chiefs fans on Friday (Aug. 8).

Bryan, a vocal Philadelphia Eagles fan, shared his thoughts on the Chiefs’ past hope for a three-peat — the idea that Kansas City would be the first NFL team in history to win three consecutive Super Bowls.

That dream was crushed back in February when the Eagles beat the Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII.

“Where are all the three-peat people from last year:/,” the “Something in the Orange” singer posted on X (formerly Twitter), referencing the Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss.

Backlash and Heated Debate

Bryan’s post quickly sparked a debate, with one X user accusing him of “singling out” the same fanbase that has helped sell out his shows.

The singer’s response was blunt: “Please understand I will never play in Kansas City,” he wrote, alongside a repost of the comment.

Bryan has performed in Kansas City several times, but it now seems the city won’t be making it to his tour stops anytime soon.

More Jabs at the Chiefs

In a follow-up post, Bryan continued to take jabs at the Chiefs, adding, “I’ll be about to finish my show and then get a taunting call if I play at that stadium.”

The same user asked Bryan to “take us off your live album too,” seemingly referring to the track “Fifth of May – Live from Kansas City” from his 24 (Live) album.

An unbothered Bryan replied: “Done brother.”

Enjoying the Backlash?

Despite riling up his fanbase, Bryan seemed to revel in the back-and-forth.

Later that evening, he posted again: “I missed it here guys let’s piss some people off,” followed by, “Bro all u have to do to piss off a chiefs fan is play a fair game of football.”

He wrapped up his social media spat with a final post: “Guys it’s okay to talk trash to each other about football [y’all] are weird as hell.”

While Bryan’s feud with Kansas City Chiefs fans heats up, it’s clear he’s enjoying the whole ordeal.

Whether or not he follows through on his threat remains to be seen, but for now, Bryan has no plans to perform for a Chiefs crowd anytime soon.
