Blake Shelton insists he only listens to one artist when he’s at home on his Oklahoma ranch. It’s not his wife, Gwen Stefani.
Shelton was a guest on Taste of Country Nights recently, and we asked if there’s a particular singer he’s listening to when he’s relaxing.
True to form, he was all jokes.
“I crank all of my music all the time,” Shelton says.
He even doubled down.
“Twenty-four hours of Blake Shelton going on at Blake Shelton’s house, come on in,” he continues.
Of course he’s a fan of Stefani’s music, both as a solo act and the frontwoman of No Doubt. He went on to list his favorite songs: “Cool,” “Hella Good,” “Its My Life” and “Hey Baby.”
Shelton is so dry in his humor, it can be hard to tell if he’s kidding around or being serious. So, it’s possible that he really does blast hits like “Ol’ Red” and “Austin” all day, every day when he’s at home.
It’s more likely he was being tongue-in-cheek about it.
