Ella Langley is prioritizing her health and has made the tough decision to take time off from touring.
The country singer abruptly announced she would be stepping away from her performances with Morgan Wallen and Riley Green.
In a follow-up post, Langley shed light on the struggles of life on the road that might have led to her decision.
On Monday night (Aug. 11), the “Weren’t for the Wind” singer reshared a heartfelt message that spoke candidly about the emotional toll of touring.
The Struggles of Tour Life
Langley reshared a powerful post from licensed therapist Daniel Rinaldi, which painted a raw picture of the hardships that come with touring.
“TOUR ISN’T A VACATION,” it read. “It’s missing birthdays over bad venue WiFi. It’s watching friends get married on FaceTime. It’s anniversaries spent in truck stops and loading docks.”
The post continued, “Tour is waking up in a different city—but still feeling ‘stuck’ while everyone else seems to move on. It’s watching your people build a life… while you’re just trying to stay awake for soundcheck.”

“Yeah, it’s a dream. But it’s also grief, disconnection, and emotional whiplash. This is really hard,” the emotional message concluded.
Prioritizing Health and Taking a Break
Earlier on Monday, Langley shared her own heartfelt message, explaining that she has been battling illness and feeling more run down than ever.
“I’m so sad to be posting this. The past several weeks have been tough. I’ve been fighting sickness and feeling more run down than ever,” she wrote via Instagram.
“After a lot of thought, I’ve made the hard decision to take a couple of weeks to rest and focus on my health, mind, body, and heart,” she continued. “I want to be fully present for all the moments ahead, and I know I can’t do that without first taking care of myself.”

Langley’s time off will affect several upcoming performances as part of her tour with Wallen and Green.
She will miss the following shows:
