Jordan Davis Is Losing Sleep Worrying If He’s Enough as a Dad

Jordan Davis got really candid in a recent interview with Taste of Country Nights, admitting he loses sleep at night, wondering if he’s doing enough as a father.

“You know, I think that you’re always kind of in the thought of, ‘Am I doing enough? Am I here enough?'” Davis explains, adding:

“That can keep you up and make you lose some sleep.”

Davis and his wife, Kristen, just welcomed their fourth child into the world.

The singer reveals he’s not only losing sleep over wondering if he is doing enough as a dad, but also because the baby keeps waking up in the middle of the night, and when he’s home, he’s on duty for all of the little ones.

Baby Sadie arrived on July 2, evening up the score. The Davises now have two boys — Elijah Patrick, 2 and Locklan Joseph, 3 — and two girls, newborn Sadie and big sister Eloise, 5.

“The camera keeps going off and a kid’s screaming for more water, or ‘I lost a toy,’ or something like that,” the “Bar None” singer says, drawing a picture of nights in their home.

You might assume that after having three kids under his belt already, that the fourth would be a breeze, but that doesn’t seem to be the case right now.

Davis further relates that “the provider role we have as dads and fathers” can be stressful and keep a man up at night. Likely adding to that stress is some anxiety, as he just released his third studio album, called Learn the Hard Way, on Friday (Aug. 15).

Davis has his own big shoes to fill with this project, as his last album, Bluebird Days, produced four straight No. 1 hits.

How Old Is Jordan Davis?

Davis is thirty-seven years old. He was born on March 30, 1988, making him an Aries.

Is Jordan Davis Currently on Tour?

Davis begins his Ain’t Enough Road Tour on Sept. 11. It’s short, but enough to keep food on the table — it goes to Oct. 25.

Kelly Clarkson’s Body Transformation in 31 Pictures

More important than these 31 pictures of Kelly Clarkson‘s stunning weight loss journey are the details of how and why she gained and lost the weight.

The singer has dealt with serious medical conditions since 2006. Add two kids, the stress of life, career and divorce and getting older — yeah, we totally get how she gained a few pounds.

In 2025, she’s as fit as she’s ever been, and that’s because she began to take her doctor’s advice seriously. Medicine helped, but it’s not what you think.
