M&M’s Shock Fans With Their New Jaw-Dropping Flavor Release

M&M fans, rejoice!

There is a brand-new, jaw-dropping flavor hitting store shelves for a limited time only, and it’s going viral.

Introducing M&M’s Cookies & Creme, a white and dark chocolate lover’s dream come true that has already been spotted on some grocery store shelves.

Food Instagrammer Markie Devoe described it as having a white and dark chocolate center with notes of cookies and creme.

This is surely going to be a hit as the summer winds down and the Halloween season gets ushered in.

M&Ms have had a similar flavor release before called Cookies & Scream M&Ms, which were released in time for Halloween in 2017, and again in 2021.

But they were slightly different.

Fans who have already tried the new Cookies & Creme M&Ms that have also had the Cookies & Scream ones in the past say that the past ones tasted creamier, but the newer ones have a little more of a creamy/fudgy taste to them.

Another commenter describing the taste brilliantly: “They taste like the end of the ice cream cones with chocolate in them.”

But don’t look for a cookie crunch when you bite into them. Fans say they are more of a smoother type of creme than ones that feature cookie crunch.

If you grab some of these to give to trick-or-treaters this year, your house will for sure be the busiest on the block, for better or worse.

The Cookies & Creme M&Ms are available nationwide on M&Ms website, all M&M stores, Albertsons, Safeway, Vons, Jewel-Osco, Shaw’s, Acme, Tom Thumb, Randalls, United Supermarkets, Pavilions, Star Market, Haggen, Carrs, Kings Food Markets and Balducci’s Food Lovers Market.

How Many Different Kinds of M&Ms Are There?

According to Taquitos.net, there are around 66 different varieties of M&Ms strewn across the world. Some rarer than others, and some limited edition releases only.

When Were M&Ms Invented?

M&Ms were invented in 1941.

The idea came from Forrest Mars, Sr., during the 1930s Spanish Civil War.

The idea was to be able to have some chocolate with you at all times without it melting. That’s why the hard candy shell was applied.
