Brittany Aldean had an experience that plenty of other parents can relate to over the weekend, when she waited for hours for her child to be seen by an Urgent Care doctor — only to be told that the only thing to do was watch and wait.
Brittany’s six-year-old daughter Navy — one of two children that she and Jason Aldean share — recently came down with a virus.
Over the weekend, her fever was high enough to raise alarm bells.
“Love a little urgent care visit on a Saturday,” Brittany wrote in an Instagram Stories slide, where she posted a snapshot that appears to have been taken in the waiting room of a doctor’s office.

In an update later in the weekend, she explained that Navy is on the mend after her doctor’s visit.
“Navy just has a virus and had a really high temperature,” Brittany explained in a video posted to Instagram Stories.
“So I tried to let it run its course and it just wasn’t ending, so we just went to Urgent Care,” she continued.
“And then we just waited hours for them to say, ‘It just needs to run its course and there’s really nothing you can do about it,” Brittany concluded, giving the camera a sarcastic thumbs up and raising a wine glass.

The good news? Navy is quickly getting back to her usual self.
That same weekend, Brittany also shared some photos of the little girl and her older brother, Memphis, enjoying a pool day.
Navy sat on the sidelines enjoying a snack, but looked like she was feeling better, as Brittany commented, “Tough little babe.”

Like a lot of other kids out there, Aldean’s children recently headed back for a new school year. Navy is entering first grade, while Memphis is a newly-minted second-grader.

Aldean has previously explained how the family manages their children’s schooling while also juggling a tour schedule.
Memphis and Navy have a hybrid school experience, with the kids attending a physical school when they’re at home in Tennessee, and working with a tutor when they’re on the road with their country star dad.
