Ray Stevens is selling his spectacular Nashville concert venue, Ray Stevens CabaRay Showroom, and pictures show a stunning state-of-the-art facility.
What Is Ray Stevens CabaRay Showroom?
Stevens designed and built the venue from the ground up and opened it in 2018.
He has made the showroom the focus of his own live performances in the years since, but plenty of other artists have also performed there, and the venue — which is primarily a music performance hall with a bar and dinner service — has hosted a number of other events over the years, as well.
The 35,000-square-foot facility offers floor and balcony seating for more than 700.
Other amenities include:
- A backstage production area with dressing rooms.
- A full-service bar and kitchen.
- Ticketing offices.
- A state-of-the-art recording studio.
- Office space.
- Parking for 300 vehicles and multiple tour buses.
“It’s a great facility, and we’ve had weddings, TV show tapings, fundraising events for charities, political campaigns, corporate meetings and all-star music performances with and without banquet dinners, all prepared and served here,” the Country Music Hall of Famer says.
“It’s a multi-use facility, but primarily, it’s an outstanding music venue. The sound is fabulous.”
Why Is Ray Stevens Selling His CabaRay Showroom?
The iconic singer-songwriter and country humorist has been slowing his schedule over the last few years.
He made the decision to sell his venue after suffering a mild heart attack in July.
“At 86 and with my recent health problems, it’s probably time to slow down, and selling CabaRay is the first step,” Stevens says in a press release.
“But in the interim, I still plan on doing shows once I’m fully recovered. I still have a lot I want to do in the recording studio, so I’ll focus all of my energy in that direction along with making videos to go along with the music from time to time.
“I’d like to see someone buy it and have as much fun here as I’ve had,” he adds.
How Much Is Ray Stevens Asking for His CabaRay Showroom?
Stevens has announced the sale of the property, but there is no formal public listing, and the asking price is not public information.
