Did Nathan and Taylor From Farmer Wants a Wife Break Up?

Farmer Wants a Wife couple Nathan Smothers and Taylor BeDell haven’t officially said they’ve broken up — but the writing is on the wall.

Farmer Nathan has implied as much through multiple social media posts.

The two met during Season 2 of the reality television dating show.

The last thing fans knew was that the couple would no long be long distance — BeDell was packing up her life in Dallas and moving to be with Smothers in Barrow, Fla.

“Long distance never get easy, only a little longer,” she wrote on TikTok back in April.

However, suspicions of a breakup bubbled when Smothers posted a cryptic message on social media that, “Not every story has a fairytale ending.”

In a photo attached to the message, he’s riding a horse and seems to be moving quickly:

Then, the farmer’s most recent TikTok post packed a spicier punch — enough that BeDell responded.

It’s a video that simply shares that Smothers is “still ranchin’,” but his music choice seems to depict what’s going on in his real life — something BeDell’s response seems to confirm.

The song? Morgan Wallen’s “I Got Better,” which is about a man who says he’s better off without his girl after they split.

“Nice,” BeDell wrote in response.

She also commented that she hoped his video would bring the views that he, Smothers, was seeking. That comment has since been deleted, but it’s not clear which party removed it.

Fans quickly jumped to the conclusion that BeDell was the one to end the relationship, with some leaving “heartbreaker” comments on her TikTok page.

But she put a stop to that. “Y’all have quite literally no idea what happened,” she quipped back.

This discovery comes on the heels of Season 3’s John and Claire’s public breakup. As of now, FOX hasn’t not confirmed when Season 4 will be airing.
