Miranda Lambert‘s weekend in Boston for Morgan Wallen‘s I’m the Problem Tour featured three ultra-VIP guests.
Her mom Beverly Lambert, dad Rick Lambert and brother Luke Lambert all attended the show. The family also posed backstage for some photos, and the singer shared three shots from the special moment.
One shot featured Lambert and her mom, another is of her and her brother and a third is a group shot of the whole family together.
“Had some very special visitors on the I”m the Problem Tour this weekend,” the singer writes in the caption of her post.
According to another post from Luke, the family also got some time to sightsee in Boston during their weekend out to see Lambert and Wallen’s show.
He shared a photo of his husband since 2018, Marc Allende, at Boston Public Garden, downtown in the city.
Not at the party (as far as we can tell) was Lambert’s husband Brendan McLoughlin, who is more typically her date to red carpets and other music business goings-on.
Miranda Lambert’s Family Has Supported Her Career From the Start
It’s pretty rare these days for Lambert’s parents to appear with her at industry events.
But back when she was first starting out, her whole family was involved in getting her career off the ground. In 2023, Lambert spoke about their support for her early on in an episode of Southern Living‘s Biscuits & Jam podcast.
She said at the time that Beverly and Rick supported her musical dreams from the start, and they spent her college money to help her pursue country music stardom.
They also cheered her on every step of the way, even when it meant family sacrifice.
“There’s some really hard days,” Lambert recounted. “I missed every birthday party, funeral, wedding. I mean, I missed everything. I was on the road for 300 days a year.”
“But I am making up for that now and nobody held it against me,” she added.

More recently, when she was announced as an inductee into the Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame, Lambert credited her dad for helping her hone her songwriting chops.
“My dad was my first co-writer,” she reflected. “He taught me how to play guitar and is a huge part part of the reason for my love of country music.”
Miranda Lambert’s Parents Were Private Investigators
Growing up with private investigator parents landed Lambert in some unusual situations, including at least one incident where she wound up going undercover.
During an appearance on Bunnie Xo‘s Dumb Blonde podcast last year, Lambert recounted the story of the time she used her high school cheerleading uniform to parlay her way into someone’s home, on the pretense of selling cookies for the squad.
A Family Tradition of Charity
Lambert’s family has also been involved in her charitable endeavors. The singer and her mom co-founded MuttNation, her nonprofit focused on benefiting shelter pets, in 2009.
Since its inception, MuttNation has raised over $11 million and assisted over 1,000 shelters, according to the organization’s website.
