22 Country Music Stars With the Most Kids — No. 1 Will Shock You!

Full House can’t compare to Willie Nelson‘s house. The country legend is one of more than 20 country music stars with a lot of kids — as in, more kids than you can safely fit in a minivan.

Three singers on this list have eight kids, while one country mama has nine.

All but four of the artists listed below are men, and most built their brood through several marriages and relationships, often having children well after 40, 50 or even 60 years old.

Contemporary artists like Walker Hayes are known for having a lot of kids, but he’s not alone.

Keep going, handsome fella — there’s still time to reach No. 1.

Eight artists pictured in this gallery are Country Music Hall of Famers, and many are of the same generation.

Nelson, Merle Haggard, Kenny Rogers and Glen Campbell all make the list with impressive numbers. It’s as if they handed out kids with Gold records back in the day or something.

We included adoptions and any child who died before their famous mom and dad. Four was the minimum, but we chose not to include every country artist who has had four kids, because that’d get boring. Instead we just tipped our hat to the most unusual circumstances around baby No. 4.
