Weight Loss Victory Lap! Jelly Roll Rides Scooter Through Europe

Jelly Roll is back in the saddle now on the scooter!

The country star hopped on a motorized scooter and rode through the streets of Berlin, Germany recently.

It’s an activity he says he hasn’t been able to do in more than a decade due to his weight.

Now, more than 200 pounds lighter, he’s free as a bird to scoot around town. The “Liar” singer shared a video of the moment on social media.

“This is big news in my world,” he tells the camera. “I haven’t been skinny enough to ride a scooter like this in like eight years, no, 12 years, 10 years.”

After a quick rundown of how to get the scooter going, Jelly Roll takes to the streets while “99 Red Balloons” from German singer Nena plays over the clips.

The smile on his face says it all:

Jelly Roll’s First European Tour

The “Heart of Stone” singer is currently scooting all across Europe on his first tour dates overseas. Jelly Roll is opening for Post Malone on his Big A– World Tour.

“I am doing a European tour for the first time ever,” he says at the beginning of his scooter video. “Thank you Post Malone for bringing me all the way to Europe with you.”

In the past, a trip to Europe was out of the question for Jelly Roll due to his criminal history. It’s been a struggle not only getting the United States to let him leave, but also getting other countries to let him in.

Earlier this year, Jelly shared his excitement when he learned London had given him the green light to tour with Malone.

It appears a domino effect of sorts has taken place, as Jelly Roll is expected to perform the remaining tour dates. He has even plotted some headlining dates in Australia in October.

Jelly Roll’s Stunning Weight Loss Journey in 28 Pictures

Jelly Roll says he once weighed 500 pounds, but as of mid-2025, he’s under 300. His weight loss journey wasn’t linear, however. These 28 pictures show how he put weight on and dropped in at various stages of his life, dating back to 2011.
