Hardy + Lainey Wilson Once Had a Wild Night Out at the Strip Club

If you thought a gun was the most redneck gift Hardy‘s ever gotten for Lainey Wilson, think again.

On a new episode of Theo Von’s This Past Weekend podcast, Wilson reveals that Hardy once surprised her with a trip to a strip club in Huntsville, Ala.

“He gave me a hundred ones and was like, ‘Have fun,'” she remembers. “It was my end of tour gift.”

Wilson toured with Hardy in the fall of 2023, not long after the pair topped the charts with their Hardy-led duet, “Wait in the Truck.”

And it’s a pretty common occurrence in country music for headlining acts to end a tour with gifts to their openers. Those gifts typically range from personalized memorabilia and mementos to sentimental items that are meaningful to both giver and receiver.

Some of those gifts are bigger than others. Kenny Chesney might be in the running for most over-the-top end of tour gift ever: He surprised Megan Moroney with her very own home sauna after she joined his 2024 Sun Goes Down Tour.

Compared with that, Hardy’s $100 tour gift is a bargain — but hey, it’s all about the experience, right?

In this case, that experience was unforgettable. The artists and their crew went to a club called Uncle Buck’s Booby Bungalow, which is also a country and western cabaret in downtown Huntsville.

The only thing that would have made this experience even more redneck would have been if they’d gone on Biscuits & Gravy Night.

And no, that’s not a night where they serve patrons plates of biscuits and gravy.

“[The dancers are] rolling around in the gravy and people are throwing the biscuits,” Wilson explained.
