Krispy Kreme Bringing Back Chocolate Original Glazed Doughnuts

Holy Nostalgia! Krispy Kreme is bringing back their Chocolate Original Glazed Doughnuts, but you only have a small window to load up on them.

Why Is Krispy Kreme Bringing Back Chocolate Original Glazed Doughnuts?

International Chocolate Day is coming on Sept. 13, as if you weren’t already aware, and Krispy Kreme is throwing it back to celebrate.

Food blogger Markie Devoe posted details about the drop, which will last for four days only, Sept. 11-14.

It’s the classic, hot-out-of-the-oven Krispy Kreme glazed doughnut, which will let you know if you have any cavities as soon as you bite into it. It’s covered in decadent chocolate that has a slight glaze, but dries hard and moves to more of a matte finish.

If you walk into your workplace with a dozen of these bad boys, you will be at least three things:

  1. The coolest employee at your establishment that day.
  2. On the boss’ radar for a raise sooner, rather than later.
  3. Not hungry anymore.

Here is an extra knockout punch: When you grab a dozen of the Chocolate Original Glazed Doughnuts, you will get a second dozen at half price.

That’s 24 doughnuts for the price of 18, so technically 6 doughnuts are free with that deal. Feel free to scarf down half a dozen yourself before even getting to work!

How Many Krispy Kreme Locations Are There in America?

There are more than 350 Krispy Kreme locations across America, and more than four times that many spread across the world. Check their website for participating locations.

While International Chocolate Day is mostly celebrated here in America on Sept. 13, if you are overseas on the aforementioned dates, you can likely celebrate as well at a global Krispy Kreme location.

How Many Calories Are in A Krispy Kreme Original Glazed Doughnut?

One Krispy Kreme Original Glazed Doughnut will only set you back 190 calories, so technically you could have about ten of them and be good.

2025 CMA Awards Nominations: Biggest Snubs + Surprises, Ranked

It’s always shocking when last year’s Entertainer of the Year favorite is shut out of this year’s nominations. That’s mostly what happened to the No. 1 artist on our snubs and surprises list.

The 2025 CMA Awards nominations announcement were good to Ella Langley, Lainey Wilson and Megan Moroney, but those women don’t make this list. Another most-nominated star does, however, and that’s a very good signal for the future of country.
