Cardi B’s New Album Will Feature Janet Jackson


Cardi B has announced that her new album Am I the Drama? will feature Janet Jackson.

In an Instagram post, the New York MC unveiled the guest features for her long awaited second album with the pop legend a standout name.

Cardi’s announcement also revealed a surprising Selena Gomez feature as well as more expected collaborations with the likes of Megan Thee Stallion and Summer Walker.

Am I the Drama? will also feature Lizzo, Cash Cobain, Tyla and Kehlani and will be released this Friday (19 February).

Cardi B recently called out her female rap contemporaries for always beefing with each other.

Speaking to Billboard, the “WAP” rapper discussed the competitiveness between current female MC’s.

She said: “No lie, these bitches be catty. You can’t prevent a bitch from being shady. Sometimes bitches want to see what you’re about. They want to test you and they want to test your gangsta.”

Cardi added: “A lot of the bitches will come in this game and feel like they can challenge you. Some bitches like to die young. In this game, you need to really know who you’re challenging.”

She also talked about female rappers that she had felt betrayed by: “Sometimes you got to let bitches learn on their own. I have to because there were so many bitches that I’ve sat down and given advice from the heart. Like, if I see people bullying you because of whatever the fuck, I’m going to go in your DMs and give you advice.

“But sometimes I got to really hold myself [back] and say, ‘No, bitch. Don’t do it,’ because these bitches turned their backs on me, fucked my man, talked about me and somebody told me about it.”

Cardi recently called out the alleged jealousy she receives from other female rappers.

Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music, Cardi addressed her standing in the rap game and the reactions she receives from some of her contemporaries.

He said: “For some reason, it’s something about me that these bitches can’t stand.

“They can’t fuck with me. Some bitches, I feel like they’re on this class right now, they’re sophomores, and I’m a senior. And it’s like you want to fuck with the senior so bad. You think you’re here with the senior. You’re not even a junior.”
