Massive Crowd Honors Charlie Kirk — Photos From the Memorial


Tens of thousands of people gathered on Sunday (Sept. 21) to mourn political activist Charlie Kirk. A public memorial held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., was anticipated to draw nearly 100,000 supporters.

The list of guest speakers was notable. Among the most anticipated were President Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance. Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, also took the stage, delivering emotional remarks in her first public appearance since being named CEO of Turning Point USA.

Charlie Kirk Memorial Attendance

According to The Arizona Republicapproximately 90,000 people attended the memorial for Charlie Kirk — 70,000 inside State Farm Stadium, 10,000 in an overflow area, and another 10,000 gathered nearby.

Some arrived as early as 2AM for the event. It began at 11AM local timeand lasted for five hours, with President Trump’s 40-minute speech closing the program. The newspaper says that 30 people were treated for exhaustion, dehydration and breathing problems by 10:30AM.

A wave of Turning Point USA signs filled the seating area at various points, but other messages appeared on signs and clothing, too. Among them were “I Am Charlie Kirk” and “Make America Charlie Kirk” — the latter a nod to President Trump’s well-known campaign slogans.

Faith and politics were recurring themes throughout the memorial. Speakers expected to take the stage included Pete Hegseth, Tulsi Gabbard, Donald Trump Jr., Tucker Carlson, Stephen Miller, Sergio For, and Suzanne Scott.

Country singer Lee Greenwood was also present.
