Keith Urban closed his 2025 High and Alive World Tour with a show in Nashville on Friday night (Oct. 17), and he made what appeared to be an oblique reference to his recent divorce from Nicole Kidman, telling the crowd to “stop reading into” things after he’s been targeted by online rumors.
What Happened at Keith Urban’s Nashville Show?
Urban, 57, performed at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville as the last date of his 2025 tour, and there were several notable moments during his show.
He admonished the fans during his performance of “You’ll Think of Me,” the Tennessean reports, telling them, “This song, I’ve sang it this way a long time, stop reading into sh-t.”
Urban’s remark appeared to reference online speculation that his over-the-top performances of the song are “crash-outs” caused by his recent divorce. In reality, he’s always imbued the song with an extra measure of drama at his live shows.
Another standout moment from the show happened during his performance of “Somebody Like You.” According to the Tennessean, hundreds of fans planned a special hometown surprise for the singer, cutting red hearts out of construction paper and holding them all up at once during the song.
The special moment caused Urban to fall to his knees in an emotional reaction and pause the song before resuming.
Was Maggie Baugh at Keith Urban’s Nashville Show?
No. The musician appeared on stage with Urban and his band during a show on the tour earlier in 2025. Her joint performance of “The Fighter” with Urban set rumors swirling that they were involved in a romance amid his divorce, but there is no evidence that any of those rumors are based in fact.
There are currently no further plans for her to work with Urban.
Why Did Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman Divorce?
