Bon Jovi are hitting the road for their Forever tour in support of their album of the same name. It’s their first run of dates following singer Jon Bon Jovi’s vocal cord surgery, which has kept them off the road since 2022. His and the band’s plight was documented last year in the four-part Hulu docuseries, Thank You, Good Night: The Bon Jovi Story.
“There is a lot of joy in this announcement – joy that we can share these nights together with our amazing fans and joy that the band can be together,” the singer said in a statement. “I am lucky enough to be able to hold a light out to the audience each night and stand in their reflection for a tremendous collective experience – I get to stand in the WE of our concerts.”
The seven-date run sees the band return to the stage with a four-date run at Madison Square Garden in New York, beginning in July, before heading overseas for three dates, including two in the U.K. and one in Ireland. While their tour announcement marks their first official return to the road, they have played a smattering of on-off shows in recent years, including a gig on June 14 at Marathon Music Works in Nashville.
Tickets for the New York run will be available for presale on Oct. 27 at 10 a.m. ET with additional presales taking place before the general ticket sale on Oct. 31 at 10 a.m. ET. More information is available on Bon Jovi’s official website.
On Friday, the band will release FOREVER (Legendary Edition), which offers fresh spins on the album’s songs with an all-star cast that includes Bruce Springsteen, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Jason Isbell, Carin Leon, Joe Elliott, Robbie Williams, Avril Lavigne, and more.
“I’ve spoken extensively on my gratitude, but I will say it again, I’m deeply grateful that the fans and the brotherhood of this band have been patient and allowed me the time needed to get healthy and prepare for touring,” Jon Bon Jovi said. “I’m ready and excited!”
