Watch Sabrina Carpenter Arrest Nicole Kidman at Nashville Show

The pop star referenced the actress’ beloved AMC ad during her latest Short n’ Sweet tour stop

Sabrina Carpenter arrested Nicole Kidman during her concert on Tuesday night at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, invoking the Babygirl actress’ iconic AMC ad.

“We come to this arena for magic, right?” Carpenter said from the stage. As the cameras focused in on Kidman, she continued, “Oh my goodness, speaking of magic. I expected to find love, but not my soulmate. What is your name?”

After Kidman told her, Carpenter asked, “Nicole, where are you from?” Upon hearing that Kidman is from Nashville but is originally from Australia, Carpenter replied, “But you live in Nashville, which means if things work out between us, then I guess I’m moving to Nashville.” She added, “You’re so—oh, babygirl, I don’t know what to do.”

Trending Stories

Carpenter has been pulling out the big guns on tour recently when it comes to finding celebrities to arrest being too hot. Last week, she arrested Anne Hathaway during her five-night run at Madison Square Garden in New York. “Has anyone ever told you you look like a princess?” Carpenter said. “I’m getting so flustered. Anne, can I arrest you for being the most perfect princess in the world?” She previously arrested model Gigi Hadid in Pittsburgh for being a “gorgeous girl.”

The pop star is on the final leg of her multi-year Short n’ Sweet tour. It concludes on Nov. 23 at Los Angeles’ Crypto Arena (a night that is certain to attract a high-profile arrest). Recently, Carpenter played double duty on Saturday Night Live, hosting and performing her songs “Manchild” and “Nobody’s Son.”
