The 2025 CMA Awards have announced their latest round of performers for the Nov. 19 ceremonies, and chief among them is Kelsea Ballerini.
The Grammy nominee will give the live debut of her new song “I Sit in Parks,” a stunner of a composition, written solely by Ballerini, that finds the Tennessee native taking a stark look at all she’s sacrificed for her career, including relationships and motherhood. Ballerini dropped the song earlier this month, with an accompanying music video.
Chris Stapleton is also slated to perform at this year’s CMAs. He’ll perform his Grammy-nominated song “Bad As I Used to Be,” from the F-1: The Movie soundtrack, and also pair up with Miranda Lambert to re-create their duet “A Song to Sing.” (Their performance of the song is also up for a Grammy this year.)
Other performers include Kenny Chesney, recently inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame; Riley Green, Red Clay Strays, Brandi Carlile, and Old Dominion. The perennial Vocal Group of the Year winners are slated to play a medley of hits, including “Break Up With Him” and “Snapback.”
Patty Loveless’s name is also notably present on the CMA Awards lineup. In 2022, she gave arguably the performance of the evening when she partnered with Chris Stapleton to sing “You’ll Never Leave Harlan Alive.” Loveless’s song this year has yet to be announced.
Previously announced performers include Luke Combs, BigXthaPlug, Stephen Wilson Jr., Ella Langley, Megan Moroney, and CMAs host Lainey Wilson.
Wilson, Moroney, and Langley are all tied with the most nominations — six each — at this year’s 59th CMA Awards. The show airs live from Nashville on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and streams the following day on Hulu.
