British Singer-Songwriter Absolutely Announces New Album ‘Paracosm’

Absolutely, the British singer-songwriter, born Abby-Lynn Keen, is ready to bring her forthcoming second studio album into the light. Arriving in 2026, Paracosm will feature the newly released single “No Audience,” which unravels the musician’s perception of performance.

“For me, ‘No Audience’ is about freeing myself from being performative or attempting to be somebody other than my authentic self just for the sake of being liked, accepted, or understood,” Absolutely shared in a statement. “There’s a metaphor of standing in a theater with no one watching — I can just dance without caring.”

On the pre-chorus, she sings, “Oh, can you visualizе it? Dancing without even trying/Moving your body out of timing/Does it еver get tiring? Feeling like you do it all for show/Oh, don’t you wish you could let go?”

Trending Stories

The single follows “I Just Don’t Know You Yet” and “Goodbye Glitter” as the lead offerings from Paracosm. The album title refers to a “fully realized, detailed imaginary world, often created during childhood, that a person develops over a long period, sometimes into adulthood.” There are layers to these imaginative places — distinct architecture, history, characters, and more. Its definition notes that it “can be a coping mechanism for stress or trauma, or simply a rich creative outlet.”

The empty theaters Absolutely envisions on “No Audience” might exist within her own paracosm, but in reality, the new year holds the promise of packed rooms. In 2026, she will open for her sister, Raye, on her This Tour May Contain New Music live run scheduled to kick off in Europe in January. Their sister Amma will join, as well. Absolutely will also spend some time on the road with Reneé Rapp for a run of shows in March before re-joining Raye and Amma for the North American presentation of the This Tour May Contain New Music show.
