Megan Moroney‘s concerts are about to get much, much bigger. On Thursday, the country queen announced the dates for her upcoming The Cloud 9 Tour, in celebration of her upcoming third album, which will see her perform at major arenas across North America.
Moroney will kick off the run in Columbus on May 29, before stopping by cities such as Chicago, Atlanta, Toronto, Boston, Orlando, Portland, Los Angeles, Dallas, and a closing U.S. show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Aug. 21. The singer will then head to Europe and the United Kingdom for shows in September and a final European show on Oct. 1 in Belfast.
Tickets for the Cloud 9 tour are set to go on sale at 10 a.m. local time on Dec. 12. Fans can also sign up for presale access to tickets starting Dec. 11 at 10 a.m. local time. “THE CLOUD 9 TOUR IS COMING SOON TO AN ARENA NEAR YOU!!!!!” Moroney captioned her announcement.
Last month, Moroney announced that her third album, Cloud 9, will drop on Feb. 20, and will feature her singles “6 Months Later” and Beautiful Things.” Like with Lucky and Am I Okay?, Kristian Bush was the lead producer on the project.
“Similar to the first two albums, it’s all written about honest, personal experiences, but these songs were written by the strongest, most confident version of myself I’ve ever been,” Moroney said in a statement about the album. “My feet feel firmly planted in my artistry, and it was fun to play around sonically, while still sticking to my roots of what my fans and I love. Cloud 9 is a state of mind, and I have no doubt this will be the best chapter yet.”
