A Timeline of Their Relationship

Madison Beer has a new lease on love. The pop singer and songwriter is a few weeks away from the release of her third studio album, Locket, scheduled for Jan. 16. The record pulls from a swell of emotions that emerged when she reached the end of an intense relationship. Beer previewed the album with “Bittersweet,” sharing a music video starring The Summer I Turned Pretty actor Sean Kaufman. In the clip, Kaufman hands Beer all the remnants of their relationship in a box and slams the door in her face.

As she’s walking home, a parade breaks out full of people congratulating her on being single and wishing her the best in love. In real life, at least, she’s found it. Shortly before “Bittersweet” premiered, Beer publicly launched her relationship with Justin Herbert, quarterback for the Los Angeles Chargers. The pair had been quietly linked to each other since August, but have since started to integrate their private and personal lives — from court-side date nights to nautical couples costumes. Here’s a timeline of Beer and Herbert’s romance.
