Bizarrap, J Balvin Release New Song ‘BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 62′


The star duo teased the joint track on Christmas Day

Bizarrap and J Balvin are wrapping the new year with collaboration track, “BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 62.”

The Argentine producer and Colombian singer teased the song on Christmas Day, posting a photo together on Instagram and each holding a sneaker up like phones with the caption: “BZRP Music Session #62. MAÑANA. feliz navidad.”

The joint track dropped on Friday alongside a new video featuring Balvin singing in a studio washed in blue light next to Bizarrap. Throughout his Music Sessions, Bizarrap’s shining production has led to collaborations with a massive list of talent including including Música Mexican star Peso Pluma and Shakira — his BZRP Music Sessions Vol. 53 with the Grammy award winner shattered several records on Spotify and Billboard charts, per Guinness World Records, receiving 14.4 million streams in a single day, and 80.6 million streams in a week. The track also helped Shakira break the record of Most Top 10 hits on both Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs and Latin Airplay charts by a female artist.

Biza’s shining production has also highlighted Latina rappers, aiding in some of their biggest hits. Among his standout Music Sessions have been with artists such as Snow Tha Product, Villano Antillano, Ptazeta, and Nathy Peluso. In May, Bizarrap released  “Vol. 60″ of the series with rising Dominican rapper Lismar.

For his part, Balvin concluded the North American leg of his Back to the Rayo tour, which kicked off on March 20 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta and concluded at the Moda Center in Portland on May 17. In July, a few days after performing at the halftime show of the FIFA Club World Cup final in New Jersey, the Colombian star released Mixteip — following his sixth studio album, Rayo.
