Beyonce Is Now a Billionaire

Beyoncé has earned her place among the pantheon of the world’s wealthiest musicians, with Forbes declaring the pop icon a billionaire.

According to the publication, Beyoncé is one of 22 billionaire entertainers, but only the fifth musician. She joins her husband, Jay-Z, as well as Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, and Rihanna.

While Beyoncé has embarked on a variety of business ventures, it appears that her wealth stems primarily from her music. She reportedly controls the copyrights to much of her catalog, and all of her creative output — from music and documentaries to tours — is produced under the umbrella of her company, Parkwood Entertainment.

While this setup means Beyoncé fronts a lot of the money for her creative endeavors, it also means she’s able to bring in more of the profits. For instance, her 2025 tour in support of Cowboy Carter grossed a whopping $407.6 million from just 32 concerts, making it the “shortest” tour to ever reach $400 million (per Billboard Boxscore, which collects touring data). Merch from the Cowboy Carter tour — which Parkwood produced — netted her an additional $50 million. All of this came just a few years after Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour amassed $579 million in 2023.

Beyoncé’s other recent lucrative ventures include her halftime show for Netflix’s first Christmas Day NFL game last year (an estimated $50 million), and an ad deal with Levi’s reportedly worth about $10 million. The concert film she produced for her Renaissance tour made about $44 million at the global box office. She also has her own hair care brand and whiskey (while her clothing line, Ivy Park, was discontinued in 2024).

Trending Stories

After her extremely busy and big 2025, it’s unclear what exactly Beyoncé has planned for 2026. At the moment, the biggest thing on her calendar is co-chairing the Met Gala alongside Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour. This will be Beyoncé’s first time attending the Met Gala since 2016.

Fans are also hoping that Beyoncé will share “Act III,” the third installment of her reported album trilogy, which began with Renaissance and continued with Cowboy Carter. No concrete details about the album — including a release date — have been shared yet.
