Greg Biffle’s Home Burglarized – What’s Missing?
On Wednesday (Jan. 14), WBTV television reported on the police report (seen below). There isn’t a tremendous amount of detail other than names and dates. In addition to the $30,000 cash, a backpack valued at $30 was also stolen.
Not on the report is two guns and NASCAR memorabilia that the TV station says is possibly missing. The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office is talking to local race teams to figure out if that property is elsewhere.
The home is listed as being on Doolie Rd. in Mooresville. A Google Maps search shows a property that’s at the end of a meandering residential street with no nearby intersections. It sits on Lake Norman.
No one was home at the time of the burglary and police have not made any arrests. WTVD shares that the cash was in a safe.

Those unable to attend can watch via live stream. The NASCAR YouTube channel is one of the platforms set to carry the feed.
Greg Biffle: Cause of the Plane Crash
On Dec. 18, Biffle’s plane crashed shortly after takeoff.
The pilot (unknown) circled back in an attempt to make an emergency landing but hit light poles and a tree line before reaching the runway. Flames quickly engulfed the plane, killing all seven people on board, including Craig Wadsworth, Dennis Dutton and Jack Dutton.
While the FAA is still investigating the cause of the crash, several witnesses reported hearing a loud pop at takeoff. Poor visibility caused by bad weather may have also played a factor. It’s not clear who was piloting the plane.
Their death in an aviation crash is one country music fans are far too familiar with. Nearly a dozen stars have died in planes or helicopters.
