New Music Friday: The Game, Don Toliver, DaBaby & More

This week’s New Music Friday offers something for everyone, whether your hip-hop taste leans towards the current gen or the golden age, East Coast or West Coast, lyrics-driven or rage-ready.

A little later than expected, The Game returns with The Credits, a 12-track sequel to his recently released Gangsta Grillz debut Every Movie Needs a Trailer. Fit for the big screen, the expanded edition boasts a star-studded supporting cast of 21 Savage, Benny The Butcher, Conway The Machine and more.

Don Toliver continues his artistic ascent with his ambitious fifth studio album Octane, the follow-up to his underrated 2024 effort Hardstone Psycho, while DaBaby showcases his more vulnerable, reflective side on his latest project Be More Grateful.

Elsewhere, Wiz Khalifa fronts the soundtrack to his new movie Moses the Black, which is executive produced by 50 Cent, The Alchemist reunites with fellow crate-digger Budgie for the third installment in their gospel-themed Good Book series, and Mike WiLL Made-It locks back in with Swae Lee for the aptly-titled “Rockstar Raging.”
