Halle Berry Reveals Her Favorite Kendrick Lamar Song On ‘That Tracks’: Watch

Halle Berry has revealed her favorite Kendrick Lamar song — although it might not win her any points with Drake.

The Oscar-winning actress appeared on the latest episode of UPROXX’s That Tracks series alongside Crime 101 co-stars Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo, where the trio were presented with a series of music-related scenarios and asked if each one “tracks.”

Attention shifted to Kendrick when Hemsworth read out the prompt: “If I’m stuck in traffic in the 101, I’m listening to my favorite L.A. based artist, Kendrick Lamar. Does that track?”

Berry made it no secret that she’s a Kendrick stan by replying: “Absolutely, hell yes!” before going one step further and revealing which song she’d be bumping in traffic.

“Say Drake!” she added with a laugh, imitating K. Dot’s infamous set-up line from his Grammy-winning diss song “Not Like Us.” “That’s all I’m gonna say.”

Berry further caped for the Compton native by informing Hemsworth and Ruffalo that Kendrick’s performance at the 2025 Super Bowl is still “the number one-performing halftime show ever.”

“Crazy! … Yeah, let’s go with that — just because,” Ruffalo sheepishly chimed in, agreeing with Berry’s pick.

Hemsworth also revealed himself to be a Kendrick fan, responding to the prompt by saying: “On certain days, for sure.”

The love is mutual between Halle Berry and Kendrick Lamar, who famously namedropped the Die Another Day star in the chorus to his 2012 hit “Money Trees.”

Things between Berry and Drake, on the other hand, don’t appear to be as smooth after the 6 God used the actress’ image without her permission as the cover art for his 2023 single “Slime You Out” with SZA.

Taking the title of the track to heart, the artwork depicted Berry covered in green slime at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.

Following its release, Berry issued an angry yet subliminal post on Instagram which read: “Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy… even if you’re a woman!” along with a middle finger emoji.

She was more specific about her grievances in the comments section, writing: “Didn’t get my permission. That’s not cool I thought better of him!”

Berry replied to another fan: “When people you admire disappoint you you have to be the bigger person and move on!”
