‘The Night Agent’ Renewed for Season 4 on Netflix

Netflix’s political action-thriller The Night Agent has taken the country by storm with its 3 seasons of edge-of-your-seat content that keeps us wanting more.

More of The Night Agent is what we are getting, as Netflix has recently announced they are gearing up for a fourth season of the show.

What is Netfilx’s ‘The Night Agent’ About?

It’s about a guy named Peter Sutherland who works a low-level White House job answering a phone that never rings. It’s a special phone that only FBI agents can call when they are in dire trouble and need help.

One night, the phone rings and it pulls him into a massive conspiracy where he uncovers a plot inside the U.S. government, tied to the Vice President.

There are lots of chases and near-death moments that will almost have you sweating like you just had a bottle of hot sauce.

This continues through the first three seasons but the show does a wonderful job of making each episode different, while keeping the plot the same. It doesn’t get repetitive at all.

What to Expect in Season 4 of Netflix’s ‘The Night Agent’

First of all, Season 4 will feature a huge shift, with production moving from New York to Los Angeles, suggesting a new, likely West Coast-based storyline. If true, that will lend itself to a major change in plot lines.

There is a Reddit thread with good conversation and spoilers which suggests that Sutherland will be getting a new partner in season 4, Chelsea Arrington, played by Fola Evans-Akingbola, who is a prominent FBI agent that works with Sutherland sometimes in the first three seasons.

Will Rose Return for Season 4 of Netflix’s ‘The Night Agent’?

That is the question everyone wants to know, if Sutherland’s love interest will be woven back into season 4.

Some fans love her character and some hate her. I personally like the love interest with the two and think she adds a little more depth to Sutherland’s character.

When Will Season 4 of ‘The Night Agent’ on Netflix Premiere?

Writing and filming for Season 4 is either happening currently or very soon. Netflix announced recently that it had indeed been renewed.

The exact premiere date of The Night Agent will depend on when production begins.

Season 1 was released on March 23, 2023, Season 2 on January 23, 2025, and Season 3 on February 19, 2026.

It’s likely that Netflix would stick to around the same time, so the premiere of The Night Agent season 4 will likely be in winter or early spring of 2027, for The Night Agent Season 4.
