Jason Aldean + Luke Bryan’s Moms Are Surprisingly Close

We all know by now that Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan have been best friends for more than 20 years. But what we didn’t know is just how close Aldean is with Bryan’s mom, LeClaire Bryan.

I sat down with both Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean on Taste of Country Nights, where Aldean told me, “I love [Luke’s] mom to death. She is awesome. One of the best. A good time. I actually like her more than I like Luke, I think.”

Bryan then chimed in, saying, “My mother cusses at Jason from time to time. They used to share cigarettes, but they don’t do that anymore because Jason’s a quitter — he quit cigarettes. He didn’t like my mother’s menthols anyway.”

After ribbing Aldean for quitting cigarettes, Bryan circled back with more on the subject.

How Long Have Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan Been Friends?

Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan have been friends for nearly two decades, with their relationship dating back to when they first met at a radio station in Knoxville, Tenn.

Bryan tells me the two became best friends after they were invited to a deer camp with Buck Commander, a company they now both have ownership stakes in.

On June 26, Bryan will join Jordan Davis, LoCash and more for the 25th annual Taste of Country concert in Buffalo, N.Y.
