Mia Robertson Has Been Dealing With a Stalker


Duck Dynasty star Mia Robertson is opening up about a terrifying stalker experience that forced her to make a big changes to her life.

She says she attended school under a different name, retreated from public life and was even unable to spend time with friends due to the “anxiety and fear” that came from the threat of being targeted.

Mia shared the news with the public along with a big announcement: Police found her stalker and put him behind bars. She also posted a photo of a cake her friends brought her to celebrate the arrest, and her return to moving freely through the world.

“Two weeks ago, we got the call that finally, after over a year of being tormented by this person, he has been arrested, and is currently in jail,” she writes.

“I called my friends and they brought me a cake, and I was finally able to use my real name at a restaurant that day,” she continued.

How Did Having a Stalker Change Duck Dynasty Star Mia Robertson’s Life?

Mia says that she and her family learned about her stalker a little over a year ago. The effects on her life rapidly became debilitating.

“It pretty quickly went from 0 to 100 and I had to start my senior year of college going by a different name,” she explains. “My name, Mia Robertson, is something I am incredibly proud of. It connects me with my beautiful, God-fearing family, and our story of overcoming so many trials life threw our way.”

But she was so terrified of being found by her stalker that even hearing her real name in public started to cause her extreme stress, Mia continues.

“I lost joy, friends, grades and confidence throughout this year, and I was unable to know if I would ever get that back,” she says.

Finally, she decided that she had to overcome the fears that were causing her to self-isolate. “Did this mean I posted where I went to school, or what city or restaurant I was in currently? No. But it did mean that I lived my life again,” she relates.

“I started hanging out with my friends again, but I also did things alone, too,” Mia adds. “Myself and I were back to being friends, and that was only possible because I saw God as my friend again.”

Mia concluded her post by asking fans “for continued prayers that he stays in jail so that I am able to continue my life in peace.”

She also said that she’s sharing her story in hopes of helping someone else who might be dealing with a similar situation.

“If you are reading this and have been a victim of stalking, feel free to message me,” Mia wrote. “You are not alone. If I had to go through this so that you don’t have to, then it was all worth it in the end!”

Who is Mia Robertson?

Mia Robertson’s parents are Jase and Missy Robertson.Phil and Kay Robertson are her grandparents. She has two older brothers, Reed Robertson and Cole Robertson.

Mia is currently 22 years old and recently graduated from college.

Mia was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate, and she has undergone many surgeries to treat it. In recent years, she has become an advocate for others with similar conditions.
