Kacey Musgraves has canceled three dates on her upcoming Middle of Nowhere Tour. The singer did not announce the cancellations or give any reason as to why the shows got scrapped.
Fans who purchased tickets to the affected dates instead got the information via a message from Ticketmaster, according to social media posts and the Ticketmaster website. That message states that ticket-holders will receive a refund within 14-21 days.
What Dates Are Canceled On Kacey Musgraves’ ‘Middle of Nowhere’ Tour?
The canceled dates are Aug. 20 at Chicago’s United Center, Aug. 29 at Boston’s TD Garden and Sept. 2 at Brooklyn, N.Y.’s Barclays Center.
All three of those shows that were added to the cities after Musgraves’ initial tour date rollout, which she announced in late April. Her other shows in those cities — one date each in Boston and Chicago, and two in NYC — are still on.

Musgraves announced an expansion of her tour on social media on May 8, including the now-canceled dates as well as additional nights inn Austin, Texas on Oct. 8 and Dallas, Texas on Oct. 11.
Both of those newer Texas dates are still on.
Why Did Kacey Musgraves Cancel Three Dates on Her ‘Middle of Nowhere’ Tour?
It’s unclear.
Ticketmaster’s message didn’t provide any reason, and as of Sunday morning (July 26), Musgraves hasn’t said anything about the cancellation on social media.

Set to kick off on the singer’s birthday (Aug. 21), the Middle of Nowhere Tour supports her new album, also titled Middle of Nowhere. That project includes songs like “Dry Spell,” “Mexico Honey” and a Miranda Lambert collaboration called “Horses and Divorces.”

In addition to the domestic dates, Musgraves has announced an international leg early next year. She’ll play shows in Australia and the UK starting in January 2027.
