Billy Ray Cyrus is celebrating a new chapter in his career with the release of the official music video for his latest single, “It’s Alright.”
Premiering Friday (July 31), the video accompanies a new version of the song featuring Steve Ray Ladson, the America’s Got Talent finalist whose blend of Southern soul, blues and country has earned him growing recognition.
Filmed at the historic Sudeley Castle in Gloucestershire, England, the video marks another milestone in what Cyrus describes as a fresh chapter in both his life and his music.
“This is so fun!!!! So exciting to reach a chapter in my life where the music once again reflects realism … truth … and honesty in song,” Cyrus exclusively tells Taste of Country.

He adds, “Being back on Country Radio feels like coming home! Hope you like the new mix known as ‘It’s Alright’ Mix 2 featuring Steve Ray Ladson.”
Elizabeth Hurley Helped Bring the Video to Life
Cyrus says the video was a true team effort, giving special credit to girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley, her son Damian Hurley and everyone involved in the production.
The video was a team effort with our record label Billion Streams and our amazing production team out of London. None more invaluable than Elizabeth Hurley and her talented son Damian and all the folks at Sudeley Castle, in Gloucestershire, England.
Elizabeth helped produce and direct the video, while Damian is credited as assistant director. Cyrus also shared one behind-the-scenes detail unrelated to filming.
Elizabeth not only helped produce and direct … she also customized the conchos on my old blue jeans, on the way to Oklahoma and Texas!!! Now that’s country!
The country music legend was referring to his June performances at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa in Oklahoma and Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth.
A New Chapter for Billy Ray Cyrus
“It’s Alright” follows the release of The Hill, Cyrus’ first album of original music in more than a decade.
The project marked a personal and professional turning point for the country star. His son Braison Cyrus produced and co-wrote much of the album, while daughter Noah Cyrus joined him for the duet “On Our Way Along.”

The album arrived after a period of significant change in Cyrus’ life, including finding love with Hurley, reconnecting with family members, and rediscovering his confidence as a recording artist.
