Watch Lucy Dacus Perform “Ankles” With a String Section on Fallon


Lucy Dacus stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night (January 15), where she played her new song “Ankles,” flanked by a string section. Dacus donned the voluminous red gown she wore in the music video for “Ankles,” which she shared yesterday as the lead single from her upcoming album, Forever Is a Feeling. Forever Is a Feeling is out March 28 via Geffen. Dacus has also shared the song “Limerence” from the album, which follows her 2021 LP, Home Video. The forthcoming 13-track record has contributions from Dacus’ Boygenius bandmates, Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker, along with Hozier, Blake Mills, Bartees Strange, Madison Cunningham, Collin Pastore, Jake Finch and Melina Duterte of Jay Som.

Dacus will tour behind Forever Is a Feeling in April, and will donate $1 from every ticket sold to the Plus1 LA Fires Fund.
